A Brief Literature Survey on an Automobile Air Conditioning System is presented in this paper. Various aspects related to automobile air conditioning are described here. Basic thermodynamic analysis procedure is defined. For experimental purpose, an experimental system consisting of original components from an HFC134a Automobile Air Conditioning (AAC) system has been set up. The system will be tested under steady-state operating conditions. Temperatures & pressure of the air streams entering the condenser and evaporator, compressor speed, air velocity, air humidity will be measured. From this data & analytical procedure, COP & cooling capacity will be find out for further study.
