Data mining is the process of analyzing data from different perspectives and summarizing it into useful information. The main goal of the data mining process is to extract information from a data set and transform it into an understandable structure for further use. Data clustering is a method in which we make cluster of objects that are somehow similar in characteristics. The criterion for checking the similarity is implementation dependent. Clustering is often confused with classification, but there is some difference between the two.
