The main focus of any manufacturing industry is to increase profitability. This can be accomplished by improving productivity of manufacturing processes and quality of produced goods. Several manufacturing techniques such as lean production and Six Sigma are implemented in the industry to decrease wastage of resources and improve the quality of finished goods. In this project, these techniques are applied to a heavy machinery industry to increase quality and productivity.
