Community detection has been an important research topic in complex networks.Community detection can be viewed as an optimization problem. Complex network can be easily represented in graph. Graph based data mining, is the extraction of novel and useful knowledge from a graph representation of data .There have been many algorithms proposed so far to detect community structures in complex networks, where most of the algorithms are not suitable for very large networks because of their time complexity. Genetic Algorithm is an effective optimization technique to solve the community detection problem in Social network. Social network is one type of Complex network. Social networks are defined as a set of actors and relationships that represent the interactions between entities in the network. To detect a Community in social network is main challenge.
